DISCOUNTED POSTAGE
We charge a standard £2 flat postage rate for website orders, to UK addresses only. Buy one plate, buy two plates, buy fifty plates, as long as you pay for them all at the same time then your postage cost will be £2. We ship orders on the next business day (Monday – Friday) after payment, so please allow 3 to 4 working days for delivery although it is often faster. We usually (3 weeks out of 4) also post on Saturday mornings, but can’t guarantee this.
We use Royal Mail Second Class for all orders of up to 6 plates, and either a courier or Royal Mail for more than 6 plates. If we use a courier we will email you the tracking details so as you can follow the progress of your package online.
Tracked 24 upgrade costs £5.15 (this is £3.15, plus checkout automatically adds £2.00). The Royal mail target is next day delivery, they often achieve this but sometimes it is 2 or 3 days. It is not a guaranteed service.
Please note that we only post plates to the UK. That is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We do not post to other countries.
N.B. Different postage rates apply to our plates listed on eBay.
I am frequently asked “How long will it take for my plates to arrive?”. I go to the post office early each day, so you plates will be posted the day after purchase. After that it’s up to the Royal Mail, you need to ask them about any delays in your area. If you buy your plates at 6pm, with basic 2nd class post, then please don’t ask me at 9.30am next day (as has happened) “My postie has just been and my plates haven’t arrived, what’s happening?”.
